Job summary

HypTechie is looking for a results-oriented SEO professional to enhance ecommerce visibility from Bengaluru. The role focuses on keyword research, on-page optimization, and continuous auditing to improve site traffic and rankings.

You will work in a hybrid setup with 2–4 years of relevant experience, leveraging Excel and analytics tools to drive data-informed decisions and collaborations with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in Ecommerce or Retail with at least 2 years in SEO.

Responsibilities

• Perform core SEO activities: keyword research, title tags, meta descriptions, H1s, and page content updates.
• Understand on-site search (OSS) and search relevancy; conduct regular SEO audits.
• Analyze keyword performance and page traffic; monitor ranking changes.
• Use Analytics and Webmaster tools to inform decisions.
• Coordinate with US partners on link-building campaigns.
• Identify keywords for social media content and social promotions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform core SEO related activities like Keyword Research, Title Tag, Meta Description, H1, Content/Copy Block updates etc. to relevant pages ensuring accuracy.
• Basic understanding of on-site search (OSS), search relevancy and accuracy.
• Perform SEO and OSS Audits at a regular basis.
• Experience with Google and Bing’s services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
• Audit and find what keywords that would drive traffic to their respective pages and analyze/monitor changes in ranking performance of keywords and corresponding page performance.
• Competitor analysis to find keyword gaps for top keywords and thereby improve page traffic performance.
• Provide SEO and OSS analysis and recommendations around web page elements.
• Support in identifying keywords to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from customers)
• Assist in link building campaigns in coordination with US Partners.

Core requirements of the position

• 2 years’ experience in Ecommerce or Retail, with a minimum 2 years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Passion for SEO, Internal Search, and Internet marketing
• Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
