Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and administer VMware Workspace ONE UEM for enterprise environments.
• Manage Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices via centralized endpoint management.
• Configure enrollment, provisioning, compliance policies, profiles, and security settings.
• Handle application deployment and lifecycle management across platforms.
• Implement device security policies, certificates, and auth integrations.
• Integrate Workspace ONE with Azure AD, AD, Intune and other apps as needed.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Workspace ONE Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM), Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), and end-user computing technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on expertise in VMware Workspace ONE UEM, device management, endpoint security, application deployment, and enterprise mobility solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and troubleshooting Workspace ONE solutions to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient management of enterprise devices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and administer VMware Workspace ONE UEM solutions for enterprise environments.
• Manage and support Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices through centralized endpoint management platforms.
• Configure device enrollment, provisioning, compliance policies, profiles, restrictions, and security configurations.
• Manage application deployment, application lifecycle management, and enterprise application distribution.
• Implement and maintain device security policies, conditional access, certificates, and authentication integrations.
• Integrate Workspace ONE with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, identity providers, and enterprise applications where required.
• Troubleshoot complex device enrollment, application deployment, connectivity, authentication, and compliance issues.
• Manage Workspace ONE Access and identity-related integrations, including single sign‑on (SSO), where applicable.
• Support enterprise mobility, endpoint configuration, patch management, and device lifecycle management.
• Monitor platform performance, analyze logs, identify recurring issues, and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, security, network, application, and service desk teams to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in change management, incident management, problem management, and service improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and support teams.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with VMware Workspace ONE UEM (formerly AirWatch).
• Expertise in Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM).
• Experience managing enterprise endpoints across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Strong knowledge of device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and application deployment.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), authentication, certificates, and directory integrations.
• Understanding of endpoint security, device compliance, access controls, and enterprise security policies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoint management, application distribution, and device connectivity.
• Experience with ITSM platforms and incident, problem, and change management processes.Ability to analyze technical issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement permanent resolutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Workspace ONE Access, identity management, and single sign‑on integrations.
• Exposure to Microsoft Intune and co‑management or migration between endpoint management platforms.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting or other automation techniques.
• Experience with REST APIs, automation, and integration with enterprise IT systems.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise service management.

Experience and Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT infrastructure, endpoint management, EUC, or enterprise mobility experience.
• Strong practical experience in Workspace ONE UEM administration and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
• Ownership of critical incidents and service requests.
• Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
