Job summary

EY GDS India is seeking a Senior WFS Consultant to help shape payroll transformations for global clients. You will configure and implement Workforce Software modules, work with cross‑border teams, and drive end‑to‑end payroll programs from Bengaluru.

The role requires strong stakeholder skills, in‑country travel, and alignment with EY standards. You will collaborate with the People Consulting team to deliver value, manage risks, and ensure high client satisfaction across US, LATAM, and EMEA

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in Workforce Software Implementations.
• Minimum 4 years in global payroll advisory or delivery models.
• Workforce Software Certifications PT101 and PT102.
• Experience with global clients across US, LATAM, and EMEA regions.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support Workforce Software modules in line with business requirements.
• End-to-end configuration for core processes, policy profiles, and business process frameworks.
• Assist in testing cycles, data validation, issue resolution, and production support.

The Opportunity

We are looking for Senior Consultants with expertise in Payroll to join the People Consulting team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a leading global professional services organisation whilst being instrumental in the growth of the People Consulting team.

Your Key Responsibilities

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 6 years of experience in Workforce Software Implementations
• Minimum 4 years of experience in global payroll advisory or global payroll delivery models
• Workforce Software Certifications:

• PT101 Workforce Software Fundamentals (Mandatory)
• PT102 Workforce Software T&A Configuration Certification (Mandatory)

• Proven hands-on experience in Workforce Software configuration and integration activities using the Workforce Policy Editor
• Strong functional understanding of Workforce Software business processes
• Experience working with global clients across US, LATAM, and EMEA regions
• Experience managing Exempt and NonExempt employee policy profiles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Client-focused mindset with attention to detail

Ideally, youll also have

• Expertise in creating SOPs, global process documentation, work instructions, and control narratives
• Active involvement in end-to-end payroll implementation, transformation, or stabilization programs
• Exposure to workforce or HR transformation initiatives enabled by cloud and digital technologies
• Experience in policy reviews, current-state payroll assessments, vendor evaluations and selections, global payroll process design, and implementation support
• Hands-on experience in payroll automation initiatives including RPA, workflow automation, and exception management
• Working knowledge of global payroll platforms such as ADP (GlobalView, Workforce Now), SAP, Workday, Oracle/PeopleSoft products, with participation in multiworkstream global transformation programs
• FPC, CPP, PMP or other payroll related certifications will be an added advantage
• Experience working closely with global payroll vendors such as ADP, SAP, Workday and third-party payroll providers
