The Opportunity

We are looking for Senior Managers with expertise in Workforce Management/Workforce Software to join the GDS PC team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a leading global professional services organisation whilst being instrumental in the growth of the GDS PC team.

Your Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the firm’s growth and development in a variety of ways, including successfully delivering on project engagements, leading and facilitating client working sessions, provide expertise and leadership in knowledge area, support sales and business development pursuits and assist in framing and positioning extension and project expansion work at existing clients

• Participating in full life cycle activities
• Ensure the product is designed to meet the business requirements
• Serve as Functional or Technical lead depending on project size and skill set
• Collaborate with Process Specialist during discovery workshops
• Advise project delivery team during Build and Test activities
• Serve different roles as per project scope and requirements such as Engagement Manager, Application Architect, Process & Best Practice Consultant and Application Consultant
• Lead WFS capability and develop strong relations with global partners. Establish WFs pillar of expertise within the practice, grow and lead a team of WFS SMEs/experts
• Liaison with regional member firms selling work in the WFS space to build project pipeline. Collaborate and build relationships with the Communities of Practice and Leaders in these regions to get visibility into their pipeline. Identify and build new capabilities in the team based on trends in various market regions
• Lead WFS development efforts using leading market technologies and digital solutions. Provide advice and guidance as a subject matter expert and work effectively as part of a large, distributed program team
• Working with senior leadership to create alignment in order to support program success
• Developing holistic change management strategies that succinctly articulate how change will be managed in the context of a transformation program
• Identifying and deploying leading edge communication and stakeholder engagement tools and techniques
• Develop thought leadership, collateral, tools, techniques, methodologies to build and enhance the WFS offering within the practice
• Ensure quality of delivery, manage engagement risk, project economics, escalations and ensure effective planning and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with regional policies and organizational standards
• Drive effective client communication and delivery cadence; build strong relationships with clients and project counterparts across global locations. Proactively manage risks and ensure excellent client and stakeholder feedback
• Perform role of counsellor and coach, define and set goals, conduct performance reviews and ensure ongoing learning and development of the team

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 16-19 years of work experience
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Workforce Software (Time & Attendance, Job Scheduling, Integrations, ACT, Reports, etc.) and in Workforce management (Time management, attendance, scheduling, etc.) and Payroll consulting

• PT101 - Workforce Software Fundamentals (Mandatory)
• PT102 - Workforce Software T&A Configuration Certification (Mandatory)
• PT103 - Workforce Integrations (Good to have)
• PT120 & 125 - Workforce Database and Reports (Good to have)
• PT141 - Workforce Job Scheduling (Good to have)
• Proven hands-on experience in Workforce Software Modules using the Workforce Software Policy Editor.
• Strong functional and technical understanding of Workforce Software business processes
• Experience of working in a consulting environment on global client projects
• Experience in team management; providing advice and guidance on client projects related with Workforce Software processes and systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Client-focused mindset with attention to detail

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Expertise in creating BRDs, SDDs, global process documentation, work instructions, and control narratives
• Demonstrated technical proficiencies in Workforce Software; take a practical/business driven approach to solving complex global payroll client challenges
• Led Workforce Software project work streams from planning through to implementation - managing project resources and budgets effectively
• Exposure to Workforce Software or HR transformation initiatives enabled by cloud and digital technologies
• Ability to review current processes to identify key metrics to evaluate operational performance compared to internal performance objectives and Payroll industry leading practices benchmarks
• Facilitate and support the client in movement of the payroll delivery to a 3rd party outsource provider - developing a strong governance model to drive the vendor performance and delivery of services
• Experience working closely with global payroll vendors such as ADP, SAP, Workday and third-party payroll providers will be an added advantage.
• Experience of working with a Big 4 consulting firm.
