Baker Tilly Bengaluru is seeking a Workday Reporting Specialist to design, build, and maintain reports across HR, Finance, and PSA. You will develop Advanced/Matrix/Composite Reports, create calculated fields, and ensure data integrity while supporting biannual Workday releases.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and production defects within defined timelines.
• Support biannual Workday releases with impact assessment and updates.
• Perform report validation, testing, and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Workday reports supporting HCM, Finance, and PSA business functions.
• Develop and manage advanced reporting solutions, including Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, and Composite Reports.
• Create and maintain complex Calculated Fields using functions such as Evaluate Expression, True/False Conditions, Lookup Related Value, and Lookup Value as of Date.
• Develop calculated fields involving Extract Single Instance, Extract Multi-Instance, Aggregate Related Instances, arithmetic calculations, date calculations, and text concatenation.
• Build reporting solutions using Workday Business Objects, data sources, and reporting frameworks to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate reporting requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve report-related issues, data discrepancies, and production defects within defined timelines.
• Support Workday biannual releases by assessing report impacts, performing required updates, and ensuring reporting continuity.
• Perform report validation, testing, quality checks, and maintain appropriate documentation for reporting solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams during Workday implementations, enhancements, and ongoing production support activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Information Technology, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday development with hands-on experience in designing and supporting Workday solutions.
• Strong understanding of Workday business processes, reporting frameworks, and functional concepts.
• Experience supporting Workday implementations, enhancements, integrations, and post-production support activities.
• Knowledge and experience with Workday release management, including impact analysis and deployment support.
• Experience working in Agile environments with exposure to sprint planning, requirement discussions, and delivery processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, IT, and business users.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
