Qualifications

• Strong Workday technical expertise, including Workday Extend, Workday Studio, and Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON, XML, and web services, with debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Background in HRIS or ERP systems, understanding HR, payroll, and finance processes, translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in SDLC practices, including requirements analysis, technical design, configuration, unit testing, and documentation, using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Role Description

The Senior Workday Extend Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mengio. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Workday Extend applications and integrations that support HR, finance, and other business processes. The individual will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional Workday teams, and other technical resources to gather requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and ensure alignment with best practices and security standards. Day-to-day tasks include building and testing Workday Extend components, troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, documenting technical designs, and supporting production deployments. The Senior Workday Extend Developer will also mentor junior team members, contribute to architectural decisions, and stay current with Workday platform updates and emerging technologies.

• Proficiency in SDLC practices, including requirements analysis, technical design, configuration, unit testing, and documentation, using tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in a senior Workday developer or Workday integration role; Workday certifications
