Job summary

NAB invites an accomplished Senior Vice President - Internal Audit (Cybersecurity) to join our Gurgaon, India team. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive cybersecurity audits, identifying risks, and testing controls within a dynamic audit portfolio.

The successful candidate will shape Cybersecurity audit capabilities, contribute to planning cycles, and partner with multiple stakeholders to enhance control effectiveness across NAB India.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Audit or Risk Management / Assurance.
• Information security experience in Security operations, Offensive/Defensive security, Security architecture or Security engineering.
• Experience with common security monitoring, log analysis and forensic tools.
• Understanding of best practices in security engineering, including secure development, cryptography, network security, incident response.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Cybersecurity audits and test key controls related to Cybersecurity risks.
• Plan, execute and report on a small portfolio of Audit activity as per Audit Plan.
• Define and develop Cybersecurity audit capability within Internal Audit and support annual/dynamic planning.

This role sits within Internal Audit (IA). IA is the Third line of defence in ensuring the effectiveness of the organisation’s controls in detecting, preventing and correcting risk.

• Deliver the Cybersecurity audits, assist in the identification of Risks and to test key controls related to Cybersecurity risks.
• Support the planning, execution and reporting of a small simultaneous portfolio of Audit activity as set out in the Audit Charter and the annual Audit Plan.
• Define and develop appropriate Cybersecurity audit capability within Internal Audit team and contribute to Audit’s Annual and Dynamic planning process.

Experience

• 15+ years of experience within Audit or Risk Management / Assurance.
• Information security experience in any one of the areas including Security operations, Offensive security, Defensive security, Security architecture or Security engineering.
• Experience with common security monitoring, log analysis and forensic tool
• Understanding of best practices in security engineering, including secure development, cryptography, network security, security operations, systems security, policy, and incident response.

Qualification Requirements

Industry recognised Security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, GNFA etc. are highly preferred.
