Responsibilities/Expertise:

• A minimum of 4+ years of work experience in US Residential Mortgage, specifically in Frontend (Live) US Residential Underwriting
• Expertise in underwriting – reviewing income, credit, collateral & capital
• Expertise in calculating all types of income (salaried/sm‑self‑employed and other income), assets & ratios
• Experience underwriting all types of loans (purchase, refinance, construction)
• Expertise in reviewing the guidelines (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac)
• Evaluating loan documents for approval/rejection
• Review appraisal documents to identify whether the property has been evaluated correctly
• Assessing loan attributes and documentation for soundness and accuracy
• Approving, denying or counter‑offering loans after verifying borrower eligibility

Work Mode:

Hybrid (initial 2 months of training in the office and willingness to come to the office as per business requirements)
