Starworth Global Soluitons in Pune is hiring for Mortgage Underwriter / Senior Mortgage Underwriter to join a US-shift operation. The role requires 4+ years in US residential underwriting with expertise in income, asset, and loan documentation evaluation.

Responsibilities include reviewing guidelines (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac), evaluating loan documents, and recommending approvals or counter offers. Immediate joiners or 15-day notice preferred; relocation options may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in US Residential Mortgage Underwriting.
• Graduation is Mandatory.
• Relieving Letter is Mandatory.
• Immediate Joiners or candidates with 15 days notice period preferred.

Responsibilities

• A Minimum of 4+ years work experience in US Residential Mortgage specifically in Frontend (Live) US Residential Underwriting.
• Expertise in Underwriting – Reviewing Income, Credit, Collateral & Capital
• Expertise in calculating all type of Incomes (Salaried/Self Employed and Other Income), Asset & Ratios
• Must have experience in Underwriting all type of loans Purchase/Refinance/Construction
• Expertise in reviewing the Guideline (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac)
• Evaluating the Loan documents for approval/rejection
• Review Appraisal document to identify whether the property has been evaluated correctly
• Assessing loan attributes and documentation for soundness and accuracy
• Approving/Denying/Counter Offer the loans after verifying borrower eligibility
