Job summary

Luxoft Germany in Pune, India is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated tests in a highly collaborative, globally distributed team. You will drive test automation initiatives, leverage Java/Kotlin with Selenium WebDriver, and contribute to a robust CI/CD pipeline to accelerate release cycles.

You will mentor colleagues, participate in all SDLC phases, and help evolve the Automation Framework while balancing manual testing when needed in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in requirements analysis, test case designing, and functional testing.
• QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience.
• Proficient in Java/Kotlin and in test-driven development (BDD) to support continuous delivery.
• Ownership of automated testing design, development, and maintenance.

Automation boosts the speed of test execution and helps to increase test coverage and leads our teams to build products of better quality. We are seeking a candidate to help us eliminate repetitive manual tests with a comprehensive implementation of automation.

Responsibilities

• - Adopt responsibility for the design and development of automated tests- Contribute to technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services- Harness their strong background in test automation- Share quality and process knowledge with the team- Participate in the evolution and extension of our Testing Automation Framework- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle – requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment.- Participate in the project planning process, including estimating and processing improvements in an Agile environment- Mentor and assist team members- Flexible individual, able to handle manual testing as and when needed

• Hands-on experience in requirements analysis, test case designing, and functional testing.QA Automation Engineers with 10+ years of experience.Experienced Senior QA Automation professional who drive to modernize with proficiency in programming languages such as Java / Kotlin.A good knowledge of test-driven development approaches such as BDD to support continuous delivery.Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing along with creation, execution, and maintenance of automated scripts.Experience in Kafka / MQ will be beneficial.Analyze, design, and build automated test cases based on acceptance criteria captured in user stories.Collaborating with development teams to develop quality products; working closely together to understand the functionality and devise acceptance tests at an appropriate test level, prioritizing both speed and quality to support continuous delivery.Act as a lynchpin for product quality activities during development & releases such as identifying bugs and coordinating remediation.Continuously improve the CI/CD toolchain and services in close collaboration with the agile programs and software engineers and the central architectureResearching issues in software with remediation geared towards designing & developing test automation scripts.Contribution to the platform architecture and product solution designA flexible, resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward independently adopting principles such as servant leadership.Selenium WebDriver (Page Object pattern, selectors, waits, timeouts, FindElements, some minimal knowledge of JavaScript to use it together with WebDriver).
