Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Performance Tester with 3-7 years of hands-on experience in performance testing for web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure application scalability, stability, and reliability.

The candidate will work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, scalability, and volume tests.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent performance testing tools.
• Perform performance testing for web applications and REST APIs.
• Analyze application response times, throughput, resource utilization, and system behavior under different workloads.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare performance test scenarios, execution plans, test data, and detailed performance reports.
• Monitor application and infrastructure metrics during performance test execution.
• Provide recommendations for improving application performance and scalability.
• Participate in performance testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Maintain performance testing documentation and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in QA Performance Testing.
• Experience in performance testing of web applications and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter, or LoadRunner, or similar performance testing tools.
• Experience with automation tools and related frameworks, including: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Postman, TestNG, Junit, BDD Cucumber, JavaScript, Playwright, C#
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, including load, stress, endurance, scalability, and volume testing.
• Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, web architecture, and client-server applications.
• Experience in analyzing performance test results and identifying application bottlenecks.
• Knowledge of SQL and database performance analysis.
• Familiarity with application monitoring and performance analysis tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into DevOps workflows.
• Experience with API performance testing.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Exposure to distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft Word Add-ins is an added advantage
