Job summary

ETP Group is seeking a skilled Test Lead to design and implement quality-check procedures for its products. You will lead a team of Test Engineers to analyze features, design tests, and create comprehensive QA processes, ensuring peak product performance and reliability across APAC markets.

Requires 6+ years in software testing with API and automation experience, ISTQB or equivalent is a plus, and a strong eye for detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Total 6+ years of work experience.
• 2+ years as Test Lead in Retail/e-commerce/ERP/SCM domain.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques and tools.
• Experience in creating and executing test cases, test plans and test scripts.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Test Engineers and perform own tasks as Test Engineers.
• Prepare detailed testing scenarios and test cases.
• Develop integration testing scenarios for product functionalities.
• Set up required test data and document test results.
• Carry out functional and non-functional testing.
• Troubleshoot errors and streamline testing procedures.
• Write final QA and test procedures for QA staff.
• Train QA staff and provide technical support when needed.
• Ensure all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
• Prepare test reports.

We are looking to hire a skilled Test Lead to design and implement quality-check procedures for our products. As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for analyzing the product features, designing test parameters, creating customized quality checks, and writing up final test procedures and lead the Test Leads.

To ensure success as a Test Lead, you should have in-depth knowledge of engineering and product design, a good eye for detail, and the ability to think out of the box. Ultimately, a top-level Test Lead can lead a team to create simple yet thorough quality-check procedures to ensure the peak performance of a product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Test Engineers and perform own individual tasks as Test Engineers.
• Understanding the functionality and preparing detailed testing scenarios and test cases.
• Understanding the overall functionalities of the product and coming up with the integration testing scenarios.
• Setting up the required test data and carrying out the detailed testing and documentation of the test results
• Carrying out the functional and non-functional testing.
• Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
• Writing up the final QA and test procedures for the quality technicians.
• Training the quality assurance staff and providing technical support when needed.
• Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
• Preparing test reports.
• Conduct performance testing to evaluate system response, reliability, and scalability.

Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Total 6 + years of work experience
• Previous work experience of 2+years as a Test Lead in the Retail/e-commerce/ERP/SCM/ domain
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Experience in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Exposure to automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Katalon Studio,TestSigma).
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in API Testing with tools like Postman
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
