We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in WebDriverIO, Java, and Cucumber BDD to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, improving software quality, and driving automation best practices across projects. This role requires hands-on experience in automation testing, framework development, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-quality software delivery.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebDriverIO, Java, and Cucumber BDD.
- Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks aligned with project requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Develop reusable automation components and libraries to improve testing efficiency.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain and continuously improve existing automation frameworks and testing processes.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback on automation code quality and standards.
- Support regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects through the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve release quality and deployment confidence.
- Prepare automation reports, execution summaries, and quality metrics.
- Mentor junior team members on automation frameworks, coding standards, and QA best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on test automation and quality engineering excellence.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Strong experience with Cucumber and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA processes.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum-based development environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing pipelines.
- Knowledge of test execution, reporting, and defect management processes.
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies is an added advantage.
- Experience with mobile test automation is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software through effective automation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
