As a Senior Technical Writer @ Wingafy, you design and develop learning and practicing experiences to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies effectively and appealingly. Also, you must be able to convert the highly complex and technical knowledge into readable and concise functional descriptions for a different set of audiences.

Responsibilities

Create engaging and compelling knowledge base articles
Write technical documentation for our core product http://vwo.com
Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to document new product features
Update current knowledge base documentation and devise processes to ensure the KB is always up to date
Constantly focus on improving the KB from a usability perspective
Seek feedback from internal and external stakeholders and incorporate it
Deliver in a fast-paced environment and work with multiple agile teams for weekly releases
Create illustrations, diagrams, and other visuals that explain technical concepts
Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience’s documentation needs
Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
Proofread and edit documentation to ensure consistency of language and style, as well as technical accuracy
Record video tutorials that show how to use technical products

Required Skills And Experience

Experience as a technical writer: 5-6+ years
GenAI Proficiency: Proven experience in leveraging Generative AI tools for documentation automation.
Strong technical skills and a passion for learning newer technologies
Good understanding of web technologies
Lead initiatives to integrate GenAI technologies for automating documentation tasks, improving efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
Must have the necessary writing and editing expertise and authoring tools to develop appropriate audience-specific documents
Ability to find new and exciting ways to present information to different audiences
Understanding of how the technology works and ability to curate it in a readable, concise, and accurate manner
Ability to determine documentation needs, understand user requirements, and design documentation accordingly
Ensure that all information is consistent, easy to understand, and well organized
