Job summary

ORION SYSTEMS in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, seeks a Senior Technical TPH Engineer / Technical Lead with deep expertise in Temenos Payment Hub and Temenos Transact. You will design, develop, and migrate complex payment processing workflows and lead technical teams with stakeholder engagement.

The role requires hands-on experience in SWIFT, Instant Payments, Local Clearing, Standing Orders, and bulk payments, plus strong knowledge of TPH integrations, IRIS, XML/XSLT, and Java extensibility on T24.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Temenos TPH and Temenos Transact/T24.
• Deep knowledge of payment processing lifecycle and banking payments.
• Hands-on with SWIFT, Instant Payments, Local Clearing, Standing Orders, Bulk Payments.
• Experience in TPH integrations, interfaces, IRIS, XML and XSLT.
• Strong T24 development, including Componentization and Java extensibility.
• Experience leading tech teams and engaging with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Temenos TPH and Transact/T24 solutions.
• Lead complex payment processing workflows (SWIFT, Instant Payments, Local Clearing, Standing Orders, Bulk Payments).
• Build and manage TPH integrations using IRIS, XML, and XSLT.
• Develop T24 solutions with Componentization and Java extensibility.
• Drive FT to TPH migration initiatives and perform end-to-end testing and cutover.
• Provide production support and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate payment requirements into scalable solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical TPH Engineer / Technical Lead with strong expertise in Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) and Temenos Transact (T24). The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of payment processing, integrations, customizations, and migration projects, along with the ability to lead technical teams and engage directly with stakeholders to deliver complex banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) and Temenos Transact (T24).
• Lead the design and development of complex payment processing workflows including:
  • SWIFT Payments
  • Instant Payments
  • Local Clearing
  • Standing Orders
  • Bulk Payments
• Build and manage TPH integrations leveraging:
  • IF Queue Configuration
  • IRIS Framework
  • XML/XSLT Transformations
• Develop and customize T24 solutions using:
  • Componentization Framework
  • Java Extensibility
  • Custom APIs and Integrations
• Execute and support FT to TPH migration initiatives, including analysis, design, migration, testing, and cutover activities.
• Perform end-to-end troubleshooting across TPH, T24, interfaces, and downstream systems.
• Produce technical designs, architecture documents, integration specifications, and solution approaches.
• Provide SIT, UAT, go-live, and production support while driving root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Review code quality, enforce development best practices, and mentor junior developers and technical teams.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, and client stakeholders to translate payment requirements into scalable technical solutions.
