Job summary

Orion Innovation is seeking a Senior Technical TPH Engineer / Technical Lead with deep Temenos TPH and Temenos Transact (T24) expertise to design, build, and govern complex banking solutions.

You will lead technical teams, manage migrations, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement payment workflows including SWIFT, Instant Payments, Local Clearing and bulk processing across TPH and T24 landscapes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Temenos Payments Hub (TPH) and Temenos Transact/T24 experience.
• Strong understanding of payment processing lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with: SWIFT Payments, Instant Payments, Local Clearing, Standing Orders, Bulk Payments.
• Experience in FT to TPH migration projects.
• Ability to lead technical teams and mentor juniors.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Experience reviewing code and leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) and Temenos Transact (T24).
• Lead the design and development of complex payment processing workflows including: SWIFT Payments, Instant Payments, Local Clearing, Standing Orders, Bulk Payments.
• Build and manage TPH integrations leveraging: IF Queue Configuration, IRIS Framework, XML/XSLT Transformations.
• Develop and customize T24 solutions using: Componentization Framework, Java Extensibility, Custom APIs and Integrations.
• Execute and support FT to TPH migration initiatives, including analysis, design, migration, testing, and cutover activities.
• Perform end-to-end troubleshooting across TPH, T24, interfaces, and downstream systems.
• Produce technical designs, architecture documents, integration specifications, and solution approaches.
• Provide SIT, UAT, go-live, and production support while driving root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Review code quality, enforce development best practices, and mentor junior developers and technical teams.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, and client stakeholders to translate payment requirements into scalable technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of payment processing, integrations, customizations, and migration projects, along with the ability to lead technical teams and engage directly with stakeholders to deliver complex banking solutions.

• 6+ years of experience in Temenos Payments Hub (TPH) and Temenos Transact/T24 .
• Strong understanding of payment processing lifecycle and banking payments domain.
• Hands-on experience with: SWIFT Messaging, Instant Payments, Local Clearing, Standing Orders, Bulk Payment Processing.
• Expertise in TPH integrations, interfaces, IRIS, XML, and XSLT.
• Strong T24 technical development experience including Componentization and Java extensibility.
• Experience in FT to TPH migration projects.
• Deep understanding of: Payment Routing, Validations, Charges & Fees, FX Processing, SWIFT Flows, Accounting & Posting Flows.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Experience reviewing code and leading technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in large-scale banking transformation programs.
• Knowledge of cloud deployment and modern integration frameworks.
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
