Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to oversee end-to-end technical delivery for Temenos Transact. You will guide the technical team, bridge functional requirements with technical design, and ensure high-performance banking solutions.

Roles include leading Temenos Transact upgrades, architecture design, and integration with IRIS, Web Services, and MQ/JMS. You will manage COB performance and environment pipelines across multiple environments and coordinate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least 2 full-cycle T24 upgrades or major version migrations.
• Strong knowledge of T24 Architecture, TAFJ/TAFC, JBASE, and Infobasic.
• Experience with Oracle/DB2 databases.
• Proficiency in Temenos Integration Framework (IRIS), Web Services, and MQ/JMS.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade & Roll-out Lead: lead Temenos Transact upgrades and new roll-outs; develop technical strategy and cutover plans.
• Technical Leadership: guide development team in L3 Java customization and TEMENOS Development Framework best practices.
• Solution Design: define end-to-end technical architecture for complex versions, enquiries, and EB.API components.
• Performance Optimization: analyze and optimize COB processes and online performance for high-volume environments.
• Integration Management: design and support integrations using IRIS, Web Services, MQ/JMS.
• Environment Management: manage T24 environments (Model Bank, Dev, UAT, SIT) and deployment pipelines.
• Stakeholder Management: conduct technical walkthroughs with business stakeholders and collaborate with project managers on milestones and risk mitigation.

The candidate will guide the technical team, bridge the gap between functional requirements and technical design, and ensure high-performance banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Upgrade & Roll-out Lead: Lead Temenos Transact upgrade projects (TAFC to TAFJ or T24 version upgrades) and new roll-outs. Develop technical strategy, data migration scripts, and cutover plans.
• Technical Leadership: Guide the development team in L3 Java customization, ensuring adherence to best practices for TEMENOS Development Framework.
• Solution Design: Define and own end-to-end technical architecture, designing complex VERSIONs, ENQUIRies, and EB.API components.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize Close of Business (COB) processes and online performance for high-volume environments.
• Integration Management: Design and support integrations using Temenos Integration Framework (IRIS), Web Services, and MQ/JMS.
• Environment Management: Manage T24 environments, including Model Bank, Dev, UAT, and SIT, ensuring smooth deployment pipelines.
• Stakeholder Management: Conduct technical walkthroughs with business stakeholders and collaborate with project managers on milestones and risk mitigation.

Required Technical Skills

• Core T24: Extensive knowledge of T24 Architecture, TAFJ/TAFC, JBASE, and Infobasic.
• Java Extensibility: Strong experience in Java development within the Transact ecosystem.
• Upgrade Experience: Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle T24 upgrades or major version migrations.
• Database: Experience with Oracle or DB2 databases.
• Tools: Proficiency in Design Studio, GitLab/SVN, JIRA, and Eclipse.
• Interface: Hands-on experience with OFS and API development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or IT.
• Relevant TCCP (Temenos Certified Consultant) certification is preferred.
