Job summary

mea is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to join our all-remote global team focused on insurance technology. You will troubleshoot, optimize the platform, and work with operations and tech teams to resolve complex issues.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, a CS degree, and a proactive mindset to learn AWS, cloud security, and performance improvements across MySQL and PostgreSQL environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• B.Tech/B.Sc. in Computer Science.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Willing to learn AWS and cloud security basics.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for tracking changes.
• Exposure to SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Understand the Product, its AI modules, and cloud services.
• Bridge between tech and client solutions teams; resolve issues efficiently.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and debugging support.
• Work with developers to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Assist in incident management, monitoring and root cause analysis.
• Support CI/CD deployments and cloud infrastructure maintenance.
• Create internal docs and best practices.
• Stay updated with new technologies and propose improvements.

Job Overview

At mea platform, we have an opening for Senior Support Engineer, he/she will have the chance to work alongside tech and operations team to help troubleshoot and optimize the platform. The individual should have a problem-solving and technical mindset and should be open to learning about our platform capabilities, tech stack, SQL, security operations, cloud security (AWS), and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Understand our Product, its AI modules, and cloud-based services.
• Act as a bridge between the tech and client solutions team, escalating and resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and debugging support related challenges.
• Work with developers to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.
• Assist in incident management, system monitoring, and root cause analysis.
• Support CI/CD workflows, deployments, and cloud infrastructure maintenance.
• Create internal documentation, knowledge bases, and best practices for the team.
• Stay updated with new technologies and proactively suggest improvements.

Education and Skills

• Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience is required.
• B.Tech/B.Sc. in Computer Science.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality, ability to work independently and as part of a team alongside developers.
• Willing to skill up on tech stack, web development and AWS. Familiarity with Git/GitHub for tracking changes in code.
• Exposure to SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• A logical mindset to break down complex problems into simpler parts.

Location: Bangalore, India (Open for relocation to Bangalore after few months)
