Job summary

Cyient Limited is seeking a senior aerospace structures professional to lead structural substantiation for metallic and composite aircraft components. The role emphasizes static strength, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses, repairs, and certification work in line with FAA/EASA requirements.

You will guide fuselage, wing, empennage, nacelle, and control-structure analyses, while leading FEM assessments using Nastran, Patran, HyperMesh, Abaqus, and ANSYS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of hands‑on experience in Aerostructures/Stress Analysis.
• Strong expertise in Static Stress Analysis, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance, Fracture Mechanics, Metallic & Composite Structures, Structural Certification, and FEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural substantiation activities for metallic and composite aircraft structures.
• Perform and review static strength, fatigue & damage tolerance, repair, and certification analyses.
• Provide technical guidance on fuselage, wing, empennage, nacelle, and flight control structures.
• Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA certification requirements, MMPDS, HSB, Bruhn, and Niu methodologies.
• Lead FEM-based structural assessments using Nastran, Patran, HyperMesh, Abaqus, and ANSYS.
• Support customer engagements, technical proposals, project estimations, and design reviews.
• Mentor engineering teams and drive capability development, best practices, and process improvements.
