Job summary

Cyient Limited in India seeks a senior structural analyst to lead stress analysis and aerostructures design for aerospace programs. You will perform FEM analyses using NASTRAN/PATRAN/HyperMesh, evaluate materials, and ensure compliance with FAA/EASA standards. Strong communication and multi-project handling required.

You will collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team, prepare technical reports and presentations, and contribute to design improvements from concept to certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in stress analysis of aerostructures in aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of FEM/FEA methods and failure theories.
• Proficiency with aerospace materials including composites, metals and alloys.
• Experience with aircraft systems integration and regulatory standards (FAA/EASA).

Job description

• Bachelor's, Master's, in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in stress analysis and design of aerostructures, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• In-depth knowledge of structural analysis methods, including finite element modeling (FEM), classical hand calculations, and failure theories.
• Proficient in FEA tools such as NASTRAN/PATRAN/HM similar software.
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, including composites, metals, and advanced alloys.
• Familiarity with aircraft systems and the integration of structures with other aircraft systems.
• Solid understanding of aerospace loads and regulatory standards and certifications (e.g., FAA, EASA).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing and presentations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
