JSR Services India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to lead surveying, UAV mapping and LiDAR operations in Delhi NCR. This is a senior, client-facing role responsible for technical guidance and project delivery.

You will drive methodologies, QA/QC, tenders and field support, while mentoring surveying teams and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure quality and safety across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in civil/topographic surveying.
• Strong practical knowledge of Total Station, DGPS/GNSS and Auto Level.
• Experience in topographic, cadastral, boundary, alignment surveying.
• Experience with UAV/drone mapping, photogrammetry and LiDAR workflows.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D, CAD and GIS knowledge preferred.
• Excellent client-facing communication and team leadership.
• Fluent English; Hindi preferred.

About the Role

JSR Services India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant, Surveying, UAV & LiDAR (also referred to as Head - Surveying & Geospatial Operations) to lead technical and operational activities related to surveying, UAV mapping and LiDAR projects.

This is a senior technical and client-facing leadership role, not a routine field-surveyor position. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance, support client discussions, ensure quality standards and contribute to business development and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with clients and understand project requirements.
• Develop appropriate surveying, UAV mapping and LiDAR methodologies.
• Provide technical support for tenders, pre-sales and client presentations.
• Guide surveying and geospatial teams and support field troubleshooting.
• Establish and maintain technical SOPs and QA/QC practices.
• Review survey data, workflows, technical documentation and deliverables.
• Recommend suitable instruments, software and technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in civil/topographic surveying.
• Strong practical knowledge of Total Station, DGPS/GNSS and Auto Level.
• Experience in topographic, cadastral, boundary, alignment and related surveying.
• Experience with UAV/drone mapping, photogrammetry and LiDAR workflows.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D, CAD and GIS knowledge preferred.
• Strong technical judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Client-facing communication, team leadership and technical guidance experience.
• Excellent English communication; Hindi is preferred.

Education

B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering preferred. Candidates with a Diploma and substantial relevant experience may also be considered.

Work Location

Delhi NCR, India. This is a full-time, on-site role with project-related travel.
