Job summary

EPAM Systems India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the migration of content delivery workloads from Akamai to Amazon CloudFront. You will design scalable CDN solutions, deploy CloudFront, and establish security controls to ensure smooth migration with high performance.

The role requires 5–12 years of Systems Engineering experience, strong CloudFront and WAF expertise, Terraform proficiency, and scripting skills in Java and Python. English proficiency at B2+ is required.

Qualifications

• 5-12 years of professional experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Expertise in Amazon CloudFront, covering distribution configuration, cache behaviors, and origins.
• Proficiency in AWS WAF, including web ACLs, managed rules, and custom rules.
• Familiarity with Akamai CDN for migration mapping purposes.
• Skills in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code on AWS resources.
• Background in Java and Python for scripting and automation.

• Conduct cache validation, latency testing, and traffic cutover verification throughout migration phases.
• Create runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational handover documentation.
