Spadtek Solutions is hiring a Senior Technical Architect to own end-to-end Akamai-to-AWS migration programs, shaping scalable AWS architectures with CloudFront and WAF. Qualifications

• 12+ years in Cloud, Infrastructure, Solution, or Technical Architecture.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional mandatory.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS CloudFront and AWS WAF.
• Proven experience in Akamai-to-AWS CloudFront/WAF migration.
• Deep knowledge of CloudFront, Shield, GuardDuty, Lambda@Edge, CloudFront Functions, Route 53, ALB, S3, ACM, Athena, and QuickSight.
• Strong understanding of networking, DNS, routing, TLS/mTLS, CIDR, and origin connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical architecture for large-scale Akamai-to-AWS migration programs.
• Lead architecture, assessment, design, implementation, production cutover, and stabilization.
• Design secure, scalable AWS architectures using CloudFront, WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, Lambda@Edge, CloudFront Functions, Route 53, ALB, S3, and ACM.
• Assess Akamai configurations and map Property Manager, Kona Site Defender, Bot Manager, EdgeWorkers/EdgeKV, and GTM capabilities to AWS.
• Architect WAF, bot management, rate limiting, API/application security, and origin protection solutions.
• Design custom edge solutions using CloudFront Functions, Lambda@Edge, and Node.js.
• Provide architecture leadership across DNS, routing, TLS/mTLS, CIDR, VPC, and edge-to-origin connectivity.
• Define observability and dashboards using CloudWatch, S3, Athena, and QuickSight.
• Lead technical teams, review implementations, resolve escalations, and maintain migration runbooks.
