Job summary

DHL IT Services in Indore seeks a Senior System Support Specialist – Senior (Linux Services) to manage Linux servers across on‑prem and cloud, providing 2nd‑level incident, problem, and vendor escalation support. You will collaborate with global teams, drive automation, and help standardize and cost‑optimize platforms.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years Linux admin experience, cloud familiarity (Azure/GCP/AWS), and scripting skills (Bash/Python/Ansible).

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on Linux system administration
• Experience in enterprise infrastructure or data center environments
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: Azure, GCP, or AWS
• Experience with clustering / high availability solutions
• Knowledge of containers and platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, or Podman is a plus
• Good understanding of networking concepts and firewalls
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ansible)
• Interest in using AI tools to improve automation and operational efficiency
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a global, multicultural environment
• Knowledge of ITIL, ServiceNow, or change management is an advantage

In this role, you will support Linux-based systems across on‑premises data centers and cloud platforms, providing 2nd‑level incident, problem, and vendor escalation support. You will work closely with global teams, participate in infrastructure projects, and help drive automation, standardization, and cost efficiency.

Your role includes:
