Job summary

DHL IT Services in Indore, India, is seeking a Senior ServiceNow DevOps Engineer to oversee critical operational support and drive high-quality development deliverables. You will consult, guide, and solve issues across infrastructure, design, methods, and tools while aligning with service standards.

You will work in a global team, collaborating with internal and external DHL stakeholders, and contribute to projects with a focus on ITSM, Service Portal, and related HR/CSM modules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow support or development.
• Hands-on in ITSM and Service Portal; knowledge of CSM/IRM/HR modules is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide second/third level day-to-day operation support.
• Hands-on development following code standards and reviews.
• Participate in project lifecycles with minimal disruption during implementations.
• Prepare technical reports and escalation pathways for management.
• Build relationships with internal and external DHL customers.
• Deliver status reports and present findings to specialists and managers.
• Oversee team performance and provide guidance as needed.
• Ensure SLAs are met and manage incidents to resolution.

What You Would Do

• You will provide second/third level day-to-day operation support.
• Provide hands on expertise on development following our code standards.
• Participate in daily activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure adherence to projects lifecycle.
• Offer backline technical support for business applications, prepare technical reports, and plan implementations with minimal disruption.
• Foster positive working relationships with relevant internal and external DHL customers.
• Deliver reports and establish an escalation pathway for departmental management.
• Prepare and present verbal and written technical reports to specialists regarding system status.
• Oversee individual performance and offer technical guidance to team members as needed.
• Ensure that all established targets and Service Level Agreements are achieved and manage emergency incidents to resolution within the agreed timeframes.
• Participate in mid- to large-scale projects providing support, consultancy, and guidance for PMs.
• Capability to build and maintain effective working relationships with senior stakeholders across diverse IT and business landscapes.

What You Should Have

• Ideally, 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow support or developer/consultant with a ServiceNow partner or customer.
• Proven hands-on experience in the ServiceNow space, particularly in ITSM and Service Portal; knowledge of CSM, IRM, and HR modules is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script.
• Positive attitude, commitment to teamwork, and sensitivity to cultural differences.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a drive to resolve issues.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment to meet goals and deadlines.
• Demonstrated customer focus and ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic setting.
• Familiarity with at least one project management methodology (e.g., Prince II practitioner) and experience working in or leading agile teams.
• Proficient in written and spoken English, with solid presentation skills for interactions with Manager/Director-level stakeholders in Business and IT Services.
