Job summary

Vilwaa Tech Enablers is seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator to join our Linux Services team in Indore. You will support Linux-based systems across on-prem data centers and cloud environments, providing 2nd level incident, problem, and vendor escalation support.

You will collaborate with global teams, drive automation, and contribute to cost efficiency while growing your expertise in virtualization, clustering, and open source platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience
• Strong experience in enterprise infrastructure or data center environments
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: Azure, GCP, or AWS
• Experience with clustering / high availability solutions
• Knowledge of containers and platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, or Podman
• Good understanding of networking concepts and firewalls
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Ansible)
• Interest in using AI tools to improve automation and operational efficiency
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a global, multicultural environment
• Knowledge of ITIL, ServiceNow, or change management is an advantage
