Job summary

Kitron Group in Chennai, India, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the factory’s IT operations and cyber security initiatives. You will manage the local IT team, ensure high availability of systems, and align with corporate IT goals.

You will participate in LMT meetings, drive security compliance, and contribute to business continuity planning, while maintaining standards and budgets for IT infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize factory IT systems and infrastructure availability to minimize production disruptions.
• Ensure adequate competency and capacity to operate the factory’s local IT infrastructure and service restorations.
• Actively work to prevent adversaries from gaining access to Kitron information and digital processing facilities.
• Manage and develop the factory’s IT team (direct reports).
• Participate in Corporate IT initiatives and developments as needed.
• Involvement with the factory’s Local Management Team (LMT) and update on IT developments and upcoming focus areas.
• Participate in ensuring compliance with local, global and customer cyber security requirements.
• IT budget responsibility for the factory, aligned with LMT priorities.
• Plan and execute factory cyber security exercises and business continuity planning.
• Follow Company maintenance programs for the factory’s IT infrastructure.
• Adhere to Company hardware/software standards and align with LMT’s investment strategy.
• Build and maintain IT infrastructure with focus on zero trust, high availability, disaster recovery, immutable backup, and swift service restoration.

Job Description:

• Priorize factory IT systems and infrastructure availability to minimize production disruptions
• Ensure adequate competency and capacity to operate the factory’s local IT infrastructure, and similar capability for service restorations
• Actively work to prevent adversaries from gaining access to Kitron information and digital processing facilities

  • Update LMT on IT developments, IT events from previous period, and IT’s focus areas on the coming period that affects the factory.
  • Actively participate in ensuring compliance towards local, global and customer cyber security requirements, as led by LMT.
  • IT Budget responsibility for the factory, aligned with LMT priorities.
  • Participate in planning and execution of factory cyber security exercises.
  • Participate in business continuity planning, as led by LMT.

Requirements:
