Job summary

Kitron in Chennai is seeking a detail-oriented Product Quoting Engineer to calculate labour process times, non-recovering costs, and other project costs. You will analyze customer data, provide input to the quoting team, and lead technical activities across Kitron sites to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in manufacturing or electronics engineering (lack of formal education may be substituted by relevant work experience).
• At least 3 years of work experience.
• Demonstrate a solid background in electronics manufacturing, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of technical processes.
• Ability to read PCBA and electronic drawings.
• Strong English language skills, both spoken and written.
• Exceptional attention to detail and passion for excellence.
• Successfully navigate challenging deadlines and frequently changing priorities, displaying adaptability and resilience.
• Interpersonal skills including high collaboration with others.
• Ability to take initiative in solving problems and achieving goals.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical assembly is an advantage.

Kitron is looking for a detail-oriented and technically driven Product Quoting Engineer to join our team. The main responsibilities in this role are to calculate process times, non-recovering costs and other costs during project cost calculation. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background as an NPI Engineer or Industrial Engineer, who bring strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
