Job summary

MICHELIN France is seeking an Application Support Analyst in Pune, India with 3-5 years of production and application support experience. The role focuses on reliability, performance, and incident resolution using Java, Angular, Kubernetes, ITIL practices and Generative AI to drive operational excellence.

You will troubleshoot production issues, manage incidents, and collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Business teams to implement lasting improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Application/Production Support.
• Strong knowledge of Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Angular, and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting microservices-based and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, and application troubleshooting.
• Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and production issues following ITIL processes.
• Support and troubleshoot applications built using Java and Angular.
• Monitor and support applications deployed on Kubernetes environments.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
• Support Change and Problem Management activities, releases, deployments, and environment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot APIs, microservices, databases, and containerized applications.
• Monitor application logs, health, performance, and availability using monitoring tools.
• Maintain knowledge articles, runbooks, and support documentation.
• Leverage Generative AI tools for supporting automation, incident analysis, and knowledge management.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities.
