Job summary

Michelin España Portugal SA seeks an Application Support Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to ensure reliability and performance of enterprise applications.

You will provide production support, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement, using Java, Angular, Kubernetes, ITIL processes, and Generative AI to troubleshoot issues and optimize operations across microservices and APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Application/Production Support.
• Strong knowledge of Incident, Change and Problem Management.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Angular, and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting microservices-based and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, and application troubleshooting.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and production issues following ITIL processes.
• Support and troubleshoot applications built using Java and Angular.
• Monitor and support applications deployed on Kubernetes (K8s) environments.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
• Support Change and Problem Management activities, releases, deployments, and environment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot APIs, microservices, databases, and containerized applications.
• Monitor application logs, health, performance, and availability using monitoring tools.
• Maintain knowledge articles, runbooks, and support documentation.
• Leverage Generative AI tools for supporting automation, incident analysis, and knowledge management.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities.
