Job summary

Nagarro in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Site Reliability Engineer to join our digital product engineering team. You will work on SRE/DevOps or production support, with Linux/Unix administration and cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, or GCP.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, scripting, monitoring, ITIL practices, and contribute to design decisions, UAT, and production rollouts, ensuring quality and reliability across regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SRE/DevOps or production support.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix administration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Strong scripting skills: Python, Shell, PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics or ELK.
• Familiar with ITIL framework and service management practices.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP, pharma, healthcare, life sciences).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and review high-quality code.

• Envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and define technologies, patterns and frameworks to realize it.
• Determine and implement design methodologies and tool sets.
• Coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities to enable development.

• Carry out POCs to ensure design/tech meets requirements.

REQUIREMENT

• Writing and reviewing great quality code.
• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project.
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non‑functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to realize it.

• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll‑outs.
• Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs.
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.
