MSD Malaysia’s Hyderabad Tech Center is seeking a Senior Specialist, Technical Product Management for CRM. You will own the product lifecycle, define vision, backlog, and work with business and tech teams to deliver Veeva CRM-based solutions with minimal customization.

The role requires 7–11 years in technical product management, strong SDLC, excellent communication, and Agile experience. Hybrid work model; 3 days on-site, 2 remote; relocation domestically supported.

This role is based at our Hyderabad Tech Center and follows a hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance of the Hyderabad office.

Role Overview

As a Technical Product Manager, you will own and manage the product throughout its lifecycle, ensuring it delivers business value, supports user needs, and aligns with strategic priorities. You will partner with business stakeholders, technical SMEs, and delivery teams to define product vision, prioritize the backlog, and guide delivery of technical solutions. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and technical understanding.

What will you do in this role

• Own and manage the product across its full lifecycle, ensuring alignment to business needs, user experience, and strategic outcomes.
• Define and evolve the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities to maximize value delivery and long-term sustainability.
• Lead discovery and requirement definition activities.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment to agreed priorities.
• Review requirements, change requests, and proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives, technical feasibility, and regulatory needs.
• Drives delivery of product enhancements and releases through the agreed delivery and change management process.
• Monitor product performance, adoption, feedback, and key metrics.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and impacts, and define mitigation actions to support successful delivery.
• Provide overall leadership, guidance, and management of all aspects of a given solution, including requirements gathering, enhancements delivery plan and implementation.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technical SMEs, solution architects, and development teams to translate needs into clear product solutions.
• Facilitate communication and coordination across delivery squads, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Evaluate Veeva CRM solutions that meet business needs with minimal customization, recommending standard Veeva features whenever possible.
• Stay current on new technologies, methodologies, industry practices, standards, and the Veeva CRM roadmap.
• Apply AI tools to improve daily work processes and productivity.

What Should you have

Educational requirement is mandatory. The years of experience for R3 is fixed to 7-11 years, do not alter.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.

7-11 years of experience in technical product management, service delivery and other related IT positions.

Primary skills (must-have)

• Solid knowledge of SDLC processes, including requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a customer-focused environment.
• Proven background in strategic planning.
• Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong understanding of technical and business processes impacts to support informed decision-making.
• Familiarity with product management and agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead technical squads and coordinate end‑to‑end delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead complex technical initiatives.

Secondary skills (nice to have)

• Exposure to larger-scale transformation or enterprise delivery.
• Familiarity with product metrics, adoption, and performance monitoring.
• Solid technical background beyond product management.
• Exposure to regulated or highly governed environments.
• Knowledge of CRM tools, preferably Veeva CRM.
