Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team in the Chief Data Office, supporting the Business Product Manager in driving Problem Discovery and Value Realization for our Discover Product Line. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and a solid understanding of product management and value realization frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Business Product Manager to identify and prioritize business problems and value realization opportunities within the Discover Product Line.
• Utilize value realization frameworks to assess and enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through effective stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborates proactively with extended marketing team to understand and address key business decisions including strategy development, forecast assumptions, execution choices and performance measurement.
• Develops and implements market research plan, timeline, and budget in a compliant manner in collaboration with marketing teams and other stakeholders as aligned to business and strategic priorities.
• Leverages relevant insights, including primary research, secondary data, syndicated reports and databases, and integrates these into a compelling story to guide business decisions.
• Employ prioritization techniques to manage and align project deliverables with business objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive consensus and gather insights using Design Thinking methodologies.
• Support the product development lifecycle (SDLC) by ensuring requirements are clearly defined and communicated to technical teams.
• Utilize tools such as JIRA for project tracking and management.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on industry trends and best practices in the pharmaceutical sector.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience
• 7+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with value realization frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong technical knowledge, particularly in technical product management.
• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation.

• Certifications
• Design Thinking certification is a plus.
• Product Ownership and Product Management certification is a plus.
