Job summary

Veeva Systems, Inc. invites a Solution Consultant to join its Quality Solution Consulting team. You will translate quality and manufacturing needs into value-driven Veeva Quality solutions and partner across sales cycles.

The role demands strong domain knowledge, consultative selling, and ability to engage stakeholders. You will travel roughly 20-30% within India, and base locations include Mumbai, Hyderabad or Bangalore.

Qualifications

• 5+ years total experience with 3+ years in pharma/biotech solution consulting.
• Experience in pre-sales and customer-facing solution consulting in software/tech.
• Strong knowledge of quality/manufacturing operations in life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer objectives, quality processes, pain points and transformation priorities.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into practical Veeva Quality solution approaches.
• Create and deliver compelling demonstrations showing how Veeva Quality can improve compliance, efficiency, accountability and user experience.
• Lead consultative engagements—discovery workshops, solution workshops, conference room pilots and PoCs to demonstrate business value.
• Support the sales team in progressing opportunities, strengthening executive relationships and increasing confidence in Veeva as the partner.
• Bring market, industry and competitive insight into account strategy and solution positioning.

The Role

The Solution Consultant / Senior Solution Consultant is a customer-facing member of the Veeva Quality Solution Consulting organization responsible for translating life sciences quality and manufacturing needs into compelling, value-driven Veeva Quality solutions. The role partners closely with Account Partners, Customers, Prospects and cross-functional Veeva teams throughout the sales cycle—from discovery and qualification through solution design, demonstrations, workshops, RFP/RFI responses, proof-of-concepts and executive engagement.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to Quality leaders and business stakeholders, combining domain knowledge, solution expertise, consultative selling and strong communication skills to help customers modernize quality processes and realize measurable business value from Veeva's cloud platform.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• 5+years overall experience including 3+ years of Solution Consultant experience in Pharma/Biotech, MedTech, Diagnostics or another relevant regulated industry.
• Experience in pre-sales and solution consulting customer-facing role within a software or technology organization.
• Strong understanding of Quality and/or Manufacturing operations in life sciences.
• Working knowledge of Cloud and SaaS applications, life sciences business processes and digital transformation concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20-30% of time within India.
• Based in or able to work from the target territories: Mumbai, Hyderabad or Bangalore.
• English and Hindi proficiency; familiarity with relevant regional languages is an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with software solutions used by Quality Assurance and Manufacturing organizations in Pharma/Biotech, MedTech or Diagnostics.
• Hands-on knowledge of one or more enterprise applications such as QMS, DMS, LMS, VMS or LIMS.
• Experience with SaaS/cloud technology and enterprise software platforms.
• Consulting, business analysis or software implementation experience.
• Previous experience with Veeva applications, including Quality, Regulatory, Clinical or Safety.
• Experience in competitive software evaluations and legacy-system replacement programs.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to contribute to broader team goals.
• The candidate should be curious, energetic, commercially aware, collaborative and comfortable taking ownership of customer-facing engagements from preparation through follow-up.
