Job summary

Randstad Global Capability Center Private Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a market research professional to support accurate insights and data-driven decisions. You will work with internal clients to gather and analyze data, producing actionable recommendations that help steer marketing and business strategies.

Collaborating with teams across departments, you will design research instruments, manage data collection, and contribute to benchmarking efforts to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Acquires and applies knowledge of departmental methods and procedures to ensure the accuracy and relevance of research activities.
• Collaborates with internal clients, colleagues, and project or business unit managers to define research goals, design instruments/methods, and field market research projects.
• Assists with gathering and monitoring internal and external research via the Internet, trade publications, and paid online databases on marketplace issues/trends and business intelligence for select market / operational areas.
• Partners with teams to conduct focus groups, gather qualitative data, and compile data for benchmarking purposes.
• Monitors ongoing market research activities to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Delivers insights, findings, and recommendations to assess the effectiveness of various marketing operations, ensuring course corrections as required.
• Inputs to clean, error-free datasets and provides technical expertise in productive analysis.
• Explains factual, sometimes complex and potentially dynamic information to others in straightforward situations.

• Acquires and applies knowledge of departmental methods and procedures to ensure the accuracy and relevance of research activities. Provides sound technical expertise in the use of research tools and methodologies to support accurate and reliable market analysis
• Collaborates with internal clients, colleagues, and project or business unit managers to define research goals, design instruments/methods, and field market research projects. Collaborates with team members to deliver comprehensive market research reports that inform strategic decisions
• Assists with gathering and monitoring internal and external research via the Internet, trade publications, and paid online databases on marketplace issues/trends and business intelligence for select market / operational areas. Partners with teams to conduct focus groups, gather qualitative data, and compile data for benchmarking purposes
• Partners with more senior colleagues to assemble and review data; conducts statistical analyses; completes studies of markets and industry groups. Crafts relevant survey questions based on the research topic to achieve desired results effectively and helps develop surveying or data collection methods
• Monitors ongoing market research activities to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines, making adjustments as necessary
• Delivers supporting exhibits such as tables and graphs for leadership presentations under the guidance of more senior colleagues
• Delivers insights, findings, and recommendations to assess the effectiveness of various marketing operations, ensuring course corrections as required. Identifies opportunities for process improvements in data collection and analysis methods to enhance research quality and efficiency
