Job summary

Smiths Detection Group in Bengaluru is seeking a senior SAP solution architect to design and govern SAP-centric business solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and cyber security requirements. You will act as the technical authority for SAP solution design, data flows and business process optimisation across Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP solution design, enterprise applications or solution architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.
• Experience with SAP integrations, APIs, middleware and data migration.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks.
• Experience with cyber security, governance and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design activities for SAP and associated enterprise applications.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and supportable solution architectures.
• Define and maintain solution architectures, integrations, interfaces and end-to-end business process designs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, cyber security, infrastructure and application vendors.
• Review solution designs for compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements and integration principles.
• Support ERP transformation, application rationalisation and enterprise modernisation initiatives.
• Produce architecture artefacts, including solution diagrams, interface specifications, data flow maps and technical documentation.
• Evaluate third-party applications and integrations with SAP and enterprise platforms.
• Support Architecture Review Board activities and technology governance processes.
• Assist with application roadmap development and lifecycle management.

Design, evaluate and govern SAP-centric business solutions that support Smiths Detection's business strategy, enterprise architecture standards and cyber security requirements. Qualifications

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• 8+ years of experience in SAP solution design, enterprise applications or solution architecture.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC and SAP ecosystem technologies.
• Experience with SAP integrations, APIs, middleware and data migration approaches.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft or equivalent.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Experience working with cyber security, identity, governance and compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
