Job summary

RSA Security in Bengaluru seeks a highly skilled Software Testing and Test Automation professional to drive quality engineering across automation, performance testing, and CI/CD integration. You will design scalable automation frameworks, create load and resilience tests, and collaborate with developers to improve system reliability under peak workloads.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with test frameworks, cloud-native apps, and modern dev practices to ensure production readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a strong focus on automation and performance testing.
• Strong experience designing automation frameworks and performance testing solutions.
• Hands‑on expertise with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with cloud‑native and microservices‑based applications.

Responsibilities

• Define testing strategies, objectives, and success criteria.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks for web, API, Performance, and backend applications.
• Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts through automation.
• Review and enhance existing automation processes and frameworks.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
• Design and execute load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability, and capacity tests.
• Identify application bottlenecks across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide optimization recommendations.
• Work closely with developers, architects, DevOps, and operations teams to improve system performance.
• Validate system scalability and reliability under expected and peak workloads.
• Establish performance baselines and monitor trends across releases.
• Support production readiness reviews and performance tuning initiatives.
