Qualifications

• Experience with modern test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Strong API testing and automation experience.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineering teams to define quality requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies for new features and platform initiatives.
• Promote shift-left testing practices and quality ownership across teams.
• Identify quality risks and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks.
• Create automated tests for web apps, APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Expand automation coverage across functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Improve test execution reliability, speed, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain API automation suites.
• Validate integrations across internal and external systems.
• Ensure data accuracy across applications and databases.
• Troubleshoot defects and support root cause analysis.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor test execution results and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with DevOps to support continuous testing initiatives.
• Mentor junior quality engineers and contribute to QA standards.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and reusable test components.
• Create automated tests for web applications, APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Expand automation coverage across functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Improve test execution reliability, speed, and maintainability.

API & Integration Testing

• Develop and maintain API automation suites.
• Validate integrations across internal and external systems.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across applications and databases.
• Troubleshoot complex defects and support root cause analysis.

CI/CD & Quality Gates

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish quality gates and release readiness criteria.
• Monitor test execution results and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support continuous testing initiatives.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor junior and mid‑level quality engineers.
• Contribute to quality standards, best practices, and automation strategies.
• Participate in design reviews and provide quality‑focused technical feedback.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or software development.
• Strong programming experience in one or more of the following: Java / C# / Python / JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience with modern test automation tools such as Playwright / Selenium / Cypress
• Strong API testing and automation experience.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and quality engineering practices.
• Experience with Git and source control management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in healthcare technology environments.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
• Exposure to security testing and vulnerability validation.
• Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
