Job summary

IT NetworkZ in Nagpur is seeking a Senior Software Tester to lead QA activities across the software development lifecycle. You will design test plans, create test data and test cases, and execute manual and automated tests to ensure the product meets requirements.

In an agile environment you will track defects, coordinate with developers, and ensure regression testing aligns with procedures. Strong communication, independence, and quick learning are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on testing experience, preferably with large clients.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools is a plus, and test-case creation in an agile setup.

Job description

As a senior software tester, you are involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment process. You'll lead and conduct manual and automated tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. As a senior software tester, you will be responsible for creation of test plan, test processes, test cases and test data especially for agile projects. You will also carry out testing as per the defined procedures, participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures, prepare all reports related to software testing carried out and ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures. You will also track and monitor the updates in the external 3rd party solutions and ensure to carry out regression testing of the solution to understand the impact on our solutions.

• 4+ years relevant hands-on testing experience preferably in a company that handles large clients.
• Preferable: Knowledge of any automated testing tool and creation of test cases will be an advantage, especially in product testing in an agile environment.

• Ability to work as part of a young team in an agile environment.
