Job summary

Genesys in Chennai (Flexible) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Test to design test strategies for the Genesys Cloud Platform. You will lead testing across APIs and UIs, using GenAI-powered tools to accelerate design, analysis and validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing or data engineering for large-scale systems.
• Experience with Java (or similar), Jenkins, Selenium/Playwright, TestNG/JUnit, REST APIs, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with observability tools (Sumo Logic, New Relic, etc.).

You’ll lead testing in a cross-functional team with Product Management, Development, UX, and Documentation.
