Job summary

ZEISS India is seeking a ServiceNow Application Specialist/Developer with 5+ years of experience to support ITOM, HAM, and SAM modules. You will lead Event Management implementations, manage CMDB/Discovery/Service Mapping, and design integrations using REST, SOAP, and PowerShell. Strong troubleshooting, agile mindset, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ITOM, HAM and SAM with 5+ years in ServiceNow.
• Experience in Event Management implementations and CMDB/Discovery/Service Mapping.
• Integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP/PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement ServiceNow ITOM modules including Visibility, Health, and Event Management.
• Drive Event Management implementation projects and ensure integration with CMDB/Discovery/Service Mapping.
• Design, build and maintain integrations (REST/SOAP/PowerShell) and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Collaborate in Agile/hybrid environments, focusing on teamwork and meeting goals.
• Leverage AI basics and NowAssist capabilities to enhance processes.

Job description

• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of ITOM (Visibility, Health, Event Management), HAM, and SAM
• 5+ years of professional experience and proven success as a ServiceNow Application Specialist / Developer.
• Proven experience in Event Management implementation projects
• Solid experience with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping concepts
• In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root cause analysis.
• Solid experience in designing and implementing integrations (REST/SOAP/PowerShell).
• Proven in-depth experience in managing ServiceNow implementation projects and integrating external systems using various integration technologies.
• Experience working in agile structures and implementing agile and hybrid projects, complemented by strong teamwork skills and goal orientation.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies and their practical application.
• Basic understanding of AI ServiceNow platform capabilities (NowAssist).
• Experience as a full-stack developer is helpful but not required.
• ITIL Foundation level and project management certification are advantageous.
