Job summary

Netsmart is seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. The role focuses on Python-driven development, GraphQL APIs, and robust database work with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

You'll collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend engineers to ensure secure, high-performance systems and well-documented code. A strong analytical mindset and experience in REST/GraphQL services are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of strong proficiency in Python.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing GraphQL APIs.
• 3+ years of solid experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimisation.
• Experience building REST and/or GraphQL-based services.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
