Job summary

Netsmart Technologies is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in Python at our Bengaluru office. You will work with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, building robust APIs (REST/GraphQL) and writing efficient data models and migrations.

• 6+ years of strong proficiency in Python.
• 3+ years of solid experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimisation.
• Experience building REST and/or GraphQL-based services.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ensure performance, security, scalability, and reliability of backend systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ Years Strong proficiency in Python

• Knowledge of authentication and authorisation mechanisms
