You will own technical deliverables, design RESTful APIs, collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, and contribute to performance tuning, testing, and production support while working with modern frontend stacks as needed.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot to develop, enhance, and maintain complex, enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development expertise, sound software engineering fundamentals, and the ability to take ownership of technical deliverables in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and enterprise application services.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles, clean coding practices, and sound application design patterns.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, release planning, deployment activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Independently manage technical tasks, resolve complex issues, handle ambiguity, and take ownership of end-to-end delivery.
• Work with modern frontend technologies such as React or Angular, wherever required.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, object-oriented programming, application design, and software development best practices.
• Experience with testing, debugging, error handling, performance tuning, and production support.
• Experience working in Agile development environments, including code reviews, testing, and releases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality software with minimal supervision.

Good to Have

• Full-stack development exposure with React, Angular, or similar modern UI frameworks.
• Experience in BFSI, banking, financial services, investment management, financial markets, or capital markets.
• Experience developing mission-critical, enterprise-scale applications.
