Job summary

FIS is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer with 7-12 years of experience for its Bengaluru development centre. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot, build RESTful APIs, and integrate UI with backend services.

You will participate in architecture discussions, optimize databases (Oracle and PostgreSQL), and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and production support across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of Java full stack development experience.
• Strong Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Oracle/PostgreSQL, SQL, JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience deploying across Dev, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod environments.
• Production support and application troubleshooting experience.
• UI knowledge plus strong OOP concepts.

Requirements

• 7-12 Years of experience as Java Full Stack Developer
• Extensive experience in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, Oracle Database and PostgreSQL, SQL and JPA/Hibernate, Design Patterns, Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD Pipelines, Linux/Unix
• Deployment experience across Dev, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production environments
• Application Troubleshooting and Production Support
• Strong OOPS concept with UI knowledge.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java-based enterprise application development.
• Experience building and supporting cloud-native and microservices-based applications.
• Proven experience in deployment, release management, and production support across multiple environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Added bonus if you have

• Banking or Financial Services domain experience is preferred.
• Experience in Digital Banking, Payments, Core Banking integrations, or Financial Platforms is an added advantage.
• Exposure to regulatory and security compliance requirements in banking environments is desirable.
