Job summary

Xcelore is seeking a Java backend engineer in India (Uttar Pradesh) to design and deliver scalable microservices and cloud-native applications. You will work with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and modern DevOps tooling while applying AI-assisted development techniques to improve code generation, testing, and documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years of backend Java experience with strong knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Java Backend Development experience.
• Strong Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and microservices.
• Experience with Kafka, JMS, caching and distributed systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Database experience with Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Experience with LLM/GenAI, prompt engineering, and AI-driven developer tools.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, CQRS, Linux, and Tomcat.
• Strong system design, debugging, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Experience contributing to internal platforms or open-source projects is desirable.

Responsibilities
