Job summary

Brillio is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade Java applications. You will build scalable microservices, implement cloud-native patterns, and lead teams across DevOps, product, and QA in an Agile setup.

The role requires 6+ years in core Java and strong Spring ecosystem experience, with hands-on leadership and expertise in Docker/Kubernetes. GenAI integrations and modern frontend/backend collaboration are appreciated.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands on core Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java 11+, functional programming, streams, concurrency.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design patterns and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elastic Search).
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architectural solutions for enterprise-grade applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain high quality Java-based applications using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
• Define and drive architecture for microservices, distributed systems, event-driven patterns and cloud-native workloads.
• Provide strategic leadership in designing and implementing robust architectures for microservices, distributed systems, event-driven solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Work with RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams and promote clean coding practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Deploy and manage applications on Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm.
• Ensure security, performance, and compliance in all development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) in Agile/Scrum environments.
