Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru invites a senior backend Java expert to design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot. You will build secure, scalable APIs, craft event-driven Kafka pipelines, and drive CI/CD across AWS deployments.

You will participate in architecture reviews, implement robust tests, and optimize performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.

Core Technical Skills . Programming Languages & Frameworks

• Java 17 (preferred); strong experience in Java 8+
• Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA
• Spring Security for authentication & authorization
• RESTful API design and development
• Strong understanding of Core Java concepts, multithreading, collections, generics, functional programming (Lambdas/Streams)
• Microservices & Integration
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of service discovery, API gateways, inter-service communication
• Ability to write and maintain integration tests using JUnit
