Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred
• Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, NoSQL, and relational databases
• 7+ years experience building full-stack enterprise applications using Java, React, REST APIs and NoSQL databases
• Deep experience with reactive systems and GraphQL a plus
• Knowledge of the core tools used in planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining assigned applications
• Experience in application design, software development, and automated testing
• Experience in object-oriented design and coding
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum/Kanban
• Experience in automation testing and documentation
• Proficient in using AI tools including GitHub Copilot and Agentic tools to improve productivity and quality
• Experience building GenAI applications and end-to-end agentic SDLC workflow a plus

Sr Software Engineer I directs the end-to-end development of software applications, ensures adherence to best practices, mentors and coaches junior engineers, and collaborates with teams to optimize performance and integration.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred

Work Experience:

• Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, NoSQL, and relational databases
• 7+ years experience building full-stack enterprise applications using Java, React, REST APIs and NoSQL databases. Deep experience with reactive systems and GraphQL a positive
• Knowledge of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s)
• Experience in application design, software development, and automated testing

• Experience in automation testing and documentation (i.e. automated, functional, and performance)
• Proficient in using AI tools including GitHub Copilot and Agentic tools like Devin, Claude Code throughout SDLC to improve productivity and quality. Experience building enterprise grade GenAI applications and building end-to-end agentic SDLC workflow a plus.
