Job summary

Embitel Technologies specializes in automotive embedded systems and digital commerce, and this role focuses on Python-based test automation for automotive software across APSICE SWE5/SWE6 levels in our Platform & Energy group in Bangalore.

The candidate will work with HIL/SIL environments, CANoe/CAPEL tools, and Python Robot framework, with exposure to AUTOSAR standards and CI/CD pipelines, in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Strong Automotive SW testing experience from APSICE SWE5/SWE6.
• Experience in using HIL and SIL based testing environment (CANoe/CAPEL based tools).
• Strong Python scripting and Robot framework experience.
• Strong experience with Automotive networks (CAN/LIN/Ethernet).
• Knowledge of verification and simulation tools and environments.
• Experience with AUTOSAR standards.
• Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CodeBeamer, etc.
• Familiarity with SAFe or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of Linux/UNIX/QNX.
• Exposure to CI/CD frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform Automotive software testing across APSICE SWE5/SWE6 levels.
• Operate HIL/SIL test environments using CANoe/CAPEL tools.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts and Robot framework tests.
• Test CAN/LIN/Ethernet networks and related interfaces.
• Validate with verification and simulation tools and environments.
• Ensure AUTOSAR compliance and integrate with toolchains like GitHub/Jenkins/CodeBeamer.
• Participate in SAFe or similar Agile practices.
• Support full system testing and Linux/QNX environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflow improvements.

Job Responsibilities

• Strong Automotive SW testing experience from the APSICE level of SWE5 and SWE6.
• Have experience in using HIL and SIL based testing environment (CANoe /CAPEL based tools etc.)
• Strong working experience in Python Scripting and Robot framework.
• Strong working experience on Automotive networks such as CAN, LIN and Ethernet
• Proven experience & Deep understanding on the verification and Simulation tools and Environments.
• Experience in Autosar compliance standard.
• Experience with tools such as, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins,CodeBeamer etc.
• Working knowledge on SAFe or similar frameworks.
• Good knowledge of full System Testing.
• Shall have a good understanding of Linux / UNIX / QNX
• Exposure to CI / CD framework.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive and self-driven.
• ISTQB or any other automotive related certification is desirable.
